It won't work in UK/Ireland because it only supports LTE Band 8 and we use 8 AND 20 so that's a problem ;;;;;;(

unfortunately, for US costumers the biggest probable problems i can see with trying to use an Xiaomi phone here, especially for customers in rural areas, is lack of support for key LTE bands used by major carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. what good is a cellphone that never has a signal!!!!

Oh yeah, Xiaomi probably wants to destroy the Realme X2 and decided that there aren't already enough niche products and announced the Redmi Note 8T, which basically is the Note 8 + NFC.
The burning question is will the sound quality on video recordings be improved? It's usually not very good on Xiaomi phones.
Good camera but not good chip? If they don't want to use hi chip they can use a snapdragon 845 and not the 730, I'm just saying 🤔

As a Xiaomi owner i must say… Camera will kind of suck for the specs.. They're software is terrible, the worse on the market for Photos
Why not have a 9mp camera with the same size sensor so that pixel binning problems can be avoided
