About 6 months ago i found a growth on my nose a small peace hard skin looked like a whitehead some people said looked like might be a wart others maybe said should goto the Doctors which i should have right away. Any way i left it but i also have habit of picking spots so i picked at it which made it crust up scab up grow as well. So i was away in Scotland and started to think this was not right this growth so as soon i got back i booked a appointment with the Doctors and i told them i had a crusty growth still i had wait 2 weeks at this point it kinda looked like a Melanoma which needs be treated soon as possible as it can be deadly. Any i waited 2 weeks saw the doctor who thought might look like a Melanoma and she took photo of it sent of to some place in Oxford they never even bothered calling me back. Then i got a call from my doctors who made me a appointment with there skin specialist to which i had wait another week had no clue what to think or what to expect. I was getting all my information from google even the first doctor was looking at google photos lol to see what might be. Anyways i spent a serous amount time in the sun in alot hot countries with no protection and i have lot skin damage so i was almost sure it was skin cancer by now. Now it was looking more like Basal cell carcinom his the most common type of skin cancer and the least most deadly i think? (I am not a expert you should see a doctor if your worried.) So a week went past and finally i went to see the skin specialist at my doctors and again 30mins late in the waiting room i just wanted it all over. So she said to me it looks like a wart and all they do is use a magnified glass to look at it and sure was very sure it was not cancer. Thank god such a rush being told that. So i wanted also tell my storey because just because you got some growth it does not 100% mean you got cancer considering i spent a silly amount time in sun often over 40c with bad skin damage and in end it was not cancer however if you do get any changes in your skin book appointment with doctor right away.
Information i got from the internet about the type of clothes that give protection below you also should check with experts
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun’s UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin’s UV radiation exposure significantly, because only 2 percent of the UV rays will get through.
Types of skin cancer – Basal cell carcinoma. This the most common type of skin cancer. Other types Squamous, cell carcinoma, Melanoma. Less common types of skin cancer. Actinic keratosis (solar keratosis), Squamous cell carcinoma in situ (Bowen disease)
