  1. Salad cream is a creamy, pale yellow condiment based on an emulsion of about 25–50 percent oil in water, emulsified by egg yolk and acidulated by spirit vinegar. It may include other ingredients such as sugar, mustard, salt, thickener, spices, flavouring and colouring.

  2. but why couldent he do it in hes own kithen., hate those bbc kithshens.or whatever. Margarin is poison for the body. Was it margarin in the 70s dont think so.Think of all the tomatos thats been killed by James sins 1970,-.massmurderer.Just kidding for all the goverment employers that doesent know better i say It Was a Joke no real murders going on here.

  3. Am I country we have white bread that is either sandwich slice toast slice or a super thick sliced if you want bread that is thick enough to make a sandwich i e spreading anything on it you need super thick literally the sandwich slice is see through it is 3/10 of an inch thick or we have brown bread I have no idea what that's made out of only weirdos buy it this is the first time I've heard of anything other than a Marmite peanut butter jam or meat sandwich I don't even think vegetables would go well with bread this is all Madness normally I will have sliced ham with bread and cheese

  4. That's much too healthy for the 1970's, vegetables in sandwiches "weren't invented" yet where I grew up! My mother used to make me cold cut ham sandwiches for school lunch. I always threw them out or traded with a friend for something decent, they literally made me gag.

  5. Every subject this man presents immediately becomes interesting, entertaining and scientific of sorts. I cooked his shepherd's pie recipe and it was quite delicious. The Re-Assembler was a brilliant show one must constantly re-watch, absolutely LOVED Oz and James' booze journeys and now more cooking. His books also really interesting and entertaining. Now this is so much better than television! There really should be a 24/7 James May Channel. Although it should have been really cut diagonally. Bit of a letdown moment that.

  6. To make this truly authentic you'd have first spent half an hour trying to open a can of corned beef before lacerating your fingers, giving up, and then using salad as your filling instead..
