Ranchi,June,1:The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) the high profile recruiter of the state of Jharkhand is moving at a snail’s pace, in their proceedings because they are continuing with the shortage of staffs the newly appointed chairman ,Shiv Basant who is yet to join, Parvez Hassan, and Deputy Secretary-cum-Examination Controller Ratikant Jha are the only senior member in the commission.
JPSC is finding it difficulties to discharge its duties on time, as more than eighteen examinations scheduled to be conducted by the JPSC in this year. In the case of 4th PT according to the number of vacancy which is 219 and the decision of JPSC to take only 10 times the number of seats the paper was bit tough as most of the questions were repeated from UPSC previous year. The selection will not be like before i.e those who scored more than 60% marks (gen) were called for the mains exam.
The total Marks was of 300 the cut-offs is expected for General (225- 230), OBC (220-225), SC (210-215), ST (190-200) If they will follow the scaling which just looking like a mere possibility then according to toughness level it will be adjusted however if they will decide to follow the suit as they have done in previous year then 40% will we the criteria nobody can predict the JPSC system.
It is worth mentioning that that it has 106 vacancies for JAS (SDM) and 64 for JPS (Dy SP). So it is an important exam said an expert associated with coaching institute in Ranchi.
