Ahmedabad (Gujarat), April 29: Seven suicide case in single day in one city, just a coincidence or some astronomical influence. Well, what ever might be the reason, but all cases totally different and from diversified age group. But majority, 4 of them were women and rest three were men.
Parul Parmar, a 22-year-old student, hanged herself at her residence in Odhav area of Ahmadabad in State of Gujarat. According to police sources, she attempted suicide fearing that she would fail in the examinations. She had been declared brought dead at Shardaben General Hospital.
A mentally unstable woman, aged 55, died after jumping into a lake in Vastrapur area of the city.
Another person with acute asthma, Shiva Solanki, preferred to consume acid to get rid of painful life in Ramol area of the city. He was brought to L G Hospital, where doctors declared him dead after few hours of treatment.
Teenage girl, 17, Poonam Katik committed suicide by hanging herself. But reason is not yet known.
Two other cases of suicide by hanging were reported from Meghaninagar and Kalupur areas of the city.
