Ahmadabad, May,19:The great campaigner against corruption, Anna Hazare and his acquaintances will be visiting Gujrat for a day next week during which mass contacts with people have been planned. "India Against Corruption" Gujarat chapter announced on Wednesday that Anna Hazare, Swami Agnivesh, Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal would have two separate sessions on May 26 with local intellectuals and grass root workers.
The clauses of the proposed Jan Lokpal Bill will be the centre stage and it would be discussed in the meeting with the intellectuals and the concerned citizens of the state. While contributions from public are welcome, no sponsorships or fund from parties would be received, clarified Prakash Shah of the Movement for Secular Democracy (MSD).
Earlier Anna praise of Narendra Modi came under criticism when talked about the fair practice and development in the state under the lights of the previous comment his visit to Gujrat will be seen closely by the critics of Anna.
IAC further said that Hazare and his co-activists will hold meeting with the farmers’ group in Mahuva, which had protested against the Nirma Cement plant.
“We have combed through the entire state from Dangs to Kutch for these movements. Their representatives will meet Hazareji and his colleagues. We will have no part in it,” said danseuse-activist Mallika Sarabhai.
