New Delhi, July, 24:Strong buzz is seen in the corridors of power that Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit will join the Union cabinet as Union Home minister.
It is well known that P Chidambaram has shown his interest to the Finance Ministry which is vacant after the resignation of Pranab Mukarjee.
A source close to Congress circle has confirmed that the consultation and series of meeting has already begun as Sheila Dixit has met twice with UPS Chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi in last two days.
Sheila Dixit dearness toward 10 Janpath also led the speculation regarding the development. If she could able to make as Union Home Minister she will be the first women Home Minister of India.
Earlier Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has also given the hint that he is considering cabinet reshuffle before the parliament session starting next month.
