Jammu, Feb 18 : In a intention to keep pilgrims updated in time for railway timings, the Railway department has made their mind to install electronic boards in route the cave shrine.
''For the convenience of pilgrims coming to Katra from across the country, electronic-cum-digital boards will be placed at different locations on the track,'' sources said here this morning.
''It is an initiative to keep the visitors updated of trains schedule, timings, cancellations and registration process so that they do not suffer and smoothly hold their pilgrimage,'' they added.
The first electric board will be placed at Ban Ganga and the tenders have already been invited for it, the sources informed.
The board will give live updates about the trains and it will be great help for the people in the way of Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
