New Delhi, Feb, 24: The robust growth story led by the widening consumer base and its purchasing power had given country an upsurge in the global billionaires list where India ranks fourth on the table with as much as 47 billionaires in the country below the USA 396, China 72 and Russia with a boastful 58 billionaires.
India finds itself amongst the world’s fastest growing bigger economy economies in line with China, Brazil and other emerging markets. With a huge population base of 121 crore India is the world's 9th largest economy and is the 4th largest when it comes to PPP.
The most famous billionaires of the India are Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and MD of country’s largest private sector petrochemical company Reliance Industries, Kumar Birla, Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, Steel king Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Chairman and CEO of Arcelor Mittal, and Azim Premji, Chairman of Wipro.
The way India has grown on its potential the country will certainly move further up as global market stabilize in near future.
