New Delhi, Jan. 11: Kanika Tiwari, just 15-year-old girl has got a lifetime opportunity, when she received a chance to play a role of younger sister of biggest star of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan in the upcoming movie ‘Agneepath’.
Kanika belongs to the ‘City of Lakes’, Bhopal. She is studying in class 11th in the Sharda Vidya Mandir, and was selected after the audition of 6,500 girls.
Agneepath is the same movie with the name of the year 1990, in which Amitabh Bachchan had played a lead role. The movie is schedule to be release on Jan. 26, 2012.
Kanika said, “I used to take part in the cultural activities in school. I participated in a few dramas also. My grooming teacher Ravindra Mathur told me to take part in the audition of Dharma Production, which was searching for a young girl for Hrithik Roshan's younger sister role.”
Her role in the film is about an hour long and will share big screen with the great stars including Hrithik, Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor and Zarina Wahab. Kanika has excitedly added that “Zarina Wahab is playing my mother’s role in the film and Rishi Kapoor, who kidnaps me.”
Kanika also added about her connection with the showbiz industry, she said her cousin ‘Divyanka Tripathi’ a television actress of the serial ‘Bano Mein Teri Dulhan’.
