Mumbai,Fab,24:Agent Vinod is a Hindi spy action film written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. Saif Ali Khan has produced Agent Vinod under his home banner of Illuminati Films,it features the actor Saif in the title role alongside Kareena Kapoor.
Originally Agent Vinod was expected to release in December last year, but it was extended following a delay in its shooting schedule and will now will release on March 23, 2012.

According to Director writer Sriram Raghavan Agent Vinod is not a remake of the 1977 action film of the same name. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he described it as "a realistic film full of spy action pieces, thrills and characters." Agent Vinod has filmed in Mumbai, Morocco and Latvia.
