New Delhi, May 31: Wait for 1.1 million engineering aspirants, who appeared in 2012 AIEEE Exam, is over as result will be announced on June 1.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), conducts the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) every year to offer seats in coveted National Institute of Technology (NITs) along with IIITs, Delhi Technological University and other Govt. funded Institutions.

In total 30 NITs offer total 15,165 seats across India for B.E./B.Tech, with 7588 seats (All India Quota) and 7577 seats (Home State Quota).
Four IIITs offer total 690 seats for B.E./B.Tech and 7 more central/state Govt. funded colleges offer total 904 seats.
As per schedule, counseling will begin on June 16 with registration, choice locking for successful students. First round of seat allotment would be held on June 27 followed by second round on July 5 and third round on July 12.
