New Delhi, May, 22: Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group firm, expects to sell 110,000 units of medium and heavy commercial vehicles this year.  According to the company officials, 36,000 units Out of these units company will sell light commercial vehicle, Dost, this year.

The Dost, the light commercial vehicle manufactured by a joint venture of Ashok Leyland and Nissan for the Indian market. The former holds 51 percent in joint venture.

According to the deal sign by duo, Ashok Leyland will sell LCVs through it’s dealership network, for which it gets a commission from the JV.

The company expects to accumulate Rs 54 crore to Rs 65 crore of income if the company achieves the targeted sales.
